 I grew up on a dairy farm a little outside of New Prague, but I always LOVED doing hair. I decided to go to beauty school right when I graduated high school. I have been doing hair since 2007. I worked at Cole's salon in savage for a few years and then at Cifelli's in Prior Lake. I decided in 2014 I wanted to be independent and that's when I discovered Vanity Hair. I absolutely loved the atmosphere from the moment I walked in the door! My clients have also loved the transition. I do men's, women's, and children's haircuts, color, highlights, ombre, and balyage—and I love doing them all. I like having a variety in my schedule and I take extra time on each of my client's needs for their specific hair. I do attend extra training and shows to further my knowledge and skills in the business. Most of all, I love hearing my client's stories and I love making them look and feel beautiful! I do my own scheduling, so call the salon to get my number and you can call or text at your convenience for your appointment! 

I have been in the industry since 1989. I have worked at and managed salons and love it. I decided to be an independent stylist after I had my children. Being independent allowed me to really focus on my clients…some have been with me for 30 years and some are brand new. I truly enjoy getting to know every one of them and fulfilling their haircare needs.

 I have been trained and certified in multiple color systems and enjoy using my knowledge to create exactly what my clients are envisioning when they sit down in my chair. With over 24 years of color and styling experience, I love to make my clients look and feel great about themselves and view many of my long term customers as not only clients, but we have also become friends.

When I enlisted in the U.S. Navy, I knew that I'd have to keep my hair short and get a haircut every two weeks. One thing I discovered when I was stationed on the West Coast was barber shops and barbershop culture. 

I spent a lot of time in the barber chair. I loved the atmosphere and getting a fresh fade, the straight razor, neck shave, line-up, products, the conversations, the smells, etc. 

I've always enjoyed getting my haircut and the services that barbers provide. Thanks to my mentor, Eric the Barber, and his wisdom and mentorship, I became a barber. 

I want to bring that West Coast style here to the Midwest; laid back energy and atmosphere that's comfortable with excellent service. I believe that sitting in the barber chair is more than just the service you are receiving. Book an appointment today and let the stories be told and shared!

 I have been in the beauty industry for 10 years. I started my career at Ficocello's Hair Salon and became an independent stylist three years later. I rented a chair at Savage Kreations Salon for seven years and currently reside at Vanity Hair in Savage. I like to cut all types of hair and complete the style with original color. I keep myself current with trends by attending yearly hair conventions.
